The Boundaries portfolio is an on going body of work started in 2002 exploring the boundaries between land and water, water and sky, night and day. I began the work in color but migrated to black and white to distill down the three main elements; land, water and sky. I have always been drawn to the Great Lakes having grown up in Michigan taking family camping vacations to their shores. Currently I am lucky to live within a few hours of the greatest of the lakes, Lake Superior, where I began this work. The portfolio has now expanded to include photographs from the east and west coasts as well as Iceland.
